About the Role

Panchshil Realty is seeking an accomplished Electrical MEP Design Manager to lead the electrical design function across diverse commercial, residential, and data centre projects. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on technical expertise, capable of driving end-to-end design development, managing consultant coordination, and ensuring design excellence aligned with Panchshil’s standards of quality, innovation, and sustainability.

What You Will Do

Design Leadership

• Lead the electrical design development process for MEP systems across multiple large-scale projects.
• Oversee preparation and validation of load calculations, SLDs, design reports, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with national and international standards (IS, IEC, NBC, NFPA) while integrating sustainability and energy efficiency in design solutions.

Stakeholder & Consultant Management

• Collaborate with architecture, structural, and MEP disciplines to achieve coordinated, integrated design solutions.
• Manage external design consultants, review design submissions, and ensure timely delivery of drawings and documents.
• Liaise with vendors and OEMs to evaluate technical proposals and material submittals.

Project Execution Interface

• Support the project execution team with design clarifications, shop drawing reviews, and on-site coordination.
• Drive technical value engineering initiatives to optimize cost, performance, and long-term reliability.
• Conduct peer reviews and quality checks at design milestones to ensure error-free design deliverables.

 Data Centre Expertise (Preferred)

• Provide design leadership for mission-critical electrical infrastructure including HT/LT systems, UPS, generators, switchgear, grounding, and redundancy design.
• Ensure designs comply with Tier III/Tier IV standards and Uptime Institute / TIA requirements.
• Interface with clients, consultants, and commissioning teams during design validation and handover.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in Electrical MEP Design, with at least 3 years leading data centre or mission-critical facility design.
• Strong command of AutoCAD, Dialux, and electrical simulation software.
• Proven experience in design coordination, consultant management, and project delivery within the real estate/infrastructure sector.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
